Frankfurt 0 Tottenham 1 (1-2 agg): Postecoglou lives to fight another day as Solanke pen earns Spurs Europa semi spot

TOTTENHAM are through to the semi-finals of the Europa League following a narrow victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.

It was all to play for in the second leg of the quarter-final tie following a 1-1 draw in north London earlier this month.

And Ange Postecoglou's travelling troops booked their place in the last four of Europe's secondary club competition with a 1-0 win on the night and a 2-1 win on aggregate.

A first-half penalty from Dominic Solanke sealed a huge victory for the visitors and relieved some of the pressure on Postecoglou.
