Geordie Shore star heartbroken as he reveals friend has died as he begs fans to ‘reach out for help’

A GEORDIE Shore star has been left heartbroken by the passing of a close friend.

Ricci Guaranccio, who rose to fame on the MTV reality show, confirmed the tragic news that he had lost a friend to suicide on social media.

He confirmed the sad news on Instagram

The reality star wrote on Instagram this morning to reveal his shock and sadness at the loss.

He said: “Just lost another very good friend from school to suicide this morning!”

Ricci then shared a supportive message with his followers as he encouraged them to speak out and seek help if they were experiencing personal struggles.

The TV favourite added: “If anyone is EVER going through anything, please reach out to someone, there's ALWAYS another way.”

Ricci went on to share a link to a page to help out the family of his school friend during the difficult time.

The loss is likely to have hit Ricci hard as he openly discussed the passing of another friend during the most recent series of .

He was left saddened when his on-off fling failed to reach out and support him following the news of his first friend's death.

Ricci also dealt with the death of his dog during the same time.

The TV star first found fame on Geordie Shore during it's second series in 2012.

He remained on the show for two years before enjoying a stint on Celebrity .

Ricci then turned his attention to DJing before returning to Geordie Shore in 2022.

The news comes just weeks after after admitting to being in agony.

He posted to hisStories from the emergency department, revealing he's suffering pain in his back.

The reality star wrote in his caption: “Backs completely gone! AGONY.”

He later posed for a selfie, seemingly from the hospital's waiting room, wearing a beige hoodie and a white baseball cap.
