GERWYN PRICE slammed the draught on stage in Rotterdam, calling on the PDC to stop going to the Ahoy Arena.
The fuming Welshman was beaten .
There have been complaints by players in the past about the wind impacting their throws in front of 11,000 orange-clad fans and the Iceman claimed it affected his performance.
, 40, went on to air his issues, saying: “Gutted for myself, gutted for everyone that supports me.
“I’m so sorry but this week was pointless and we move to next week.
“Darts were blowing everywhere and after leg one, which was lucky, I knew it’s pointless.
“And where I was in the league after vital points it’s not what I wanted.
“Hopefully, PDC will now stop coming here and look for alternative venues.
“Not good for the players, not good for the fans and not good for people that like a bet.
“Onto next week where we get to play in decent conditions.
“And if you think it’s the same for both players, you’re as daft as you look.”;
The post was shared to his Instagram story and quickly caught fan attention.
Many hit back at Price, claiming that he “gave up” in his defeat.
One posted: “Price started playing like he gave up at 1-4 down.2
A second wrote: “Price just gave up there. Can't say I'm surprised, not the first time from him.”
A third commented: “How can there be wind when it’s indoors? I don’t get it.”
A fourth said: “Biggest crybaby in . Bunting has the lightest darts out of everyone and is playing fine.”
Another added: “Just as I thought we were starting to see a more mature version of Price.”
A PDC spokesperson said: “We have worked hard with the venue to minimise the effect of any air movement.
“Which has been acknowledged by a number of players in tonight’s event, who have said that conditions have improved from previous years.”;
