Glastonbury announce line up for Silver Hayes including legendary Brit DJ, EastEnders star and Gary Lineker

GLASTONBURY has revealed the official line-up for its Silver Hayes dance area – and it includes a former EastEnders star.

Festival organisers have today dropped the full bill for the huge area, which includes stages The Levels, Lonely Hearts Club, Assembly, and Firmly Rooted Soundsystem.

Goldie, who played gangster Angel Hudsonin , is among the huge itinerary for The Levels on Friday.

The DJ, whose real name is Clifford Joseph Price, had previously self-confirmed his return to Worthy Farm while chatting to Nick Grimshaw on BBC Radio 6 in February.

Meanwhile, legendary Brit DJ Fatboy Slim – aka Norman Cook – will be taking to the decks at Lonely Hearts Clubon the Saturday.

The star, who bows out from just weeks before , will appear as a guest speaker along with fellow icon and Lioness Carly Telford.

Across the festival's four-day run, Silver Hayes will also include sets from a huge list of artists, including Marie Davidson, Groove Armada, Skream & Benga and A.G. Cook.

Announcing the full Silver Hayes line-up, Emily Eavis said: “Silver Hayes returns with the same message in an ever more chaotic and divided world.

“We firmly believe we don’t have to accept how things are, a better future is still possible, optimism is still a political act and hope itself is resistance and needed now more than ever.

“When culture wars dominate, and division and polarisation becomes the norm, the time for community, unity and collective resistance becomes vital – we look to foster this at this year’s festival through music, talks and collective joy as an act of resistance.

“There is far more that unites us than divides us.”;

The electronic music duo, made up of Andy Cato and Tom Findlay, had released a cryptic set of tour dates on their official page.

The dates were for their forthcoming UK and European tour but four had been blocked out with white rectangles.

One of those dates was a mystery gig on June 26th – right in the middle of the Worthy Farm music extravaganza.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted it immediately, with one excitedly commenting: “Ohhh gaps for Glastonbury!!”

Another posted a ‘bold eyes' emoji and wrote: “Glastonbury on the 26th of June.”

The last month with the names of the three performers that will be headlining.

, , and will top the bill on the Pyramid Stage this summer.

Sir will perform his classic tracks in the Legends slot, while up-and-comers like will .

Loyle Carner is headlining the Other Stage on the Friday, whileis performing on the same day as Neil Young when she tops the second stage.

It has been branded “the worst ever” by some, with ticket-holders even demanding a refund.

One complained online: “That's gotta be the worst #Glastonbury like up I've ever seen.”

Glastonbury will take place atinbetween June 25 and 29.
