OVER the past decade, our politicians have become very fond of playing a specific trick on voters.
It goes like this. If you happen to vote for something they don’t like or express an opinion they do not share, they accuse you of “misinformation”;.

Voted for ? “You’re misinformed!”; Want to end mass uncontrolled ? “You’re misinformed!”; Ask why taxpayers have to pay for people who break our laws? “You’re misinformed!”;
And here’s the trick. At the very same time as they accuse you of suffering from “misinformation”; or “disinformation”;, our hapless politicians and the state are deliberately hiding information from you.
Just look at what happened in Westminster this week.
With much fanfare, the Labour government proudly announced it will be making public, for the very first time, information about crimes that are while they are waiting to be deported from Britain.
That’s right. No doubt in response to the relentless rise of and , and ahead of crunch elections next week, Labour Home Secretary has just ordered officials in the to publish statistics on which nationalities commit the most before they are deported.
Which is all well and good, some might say, but leads me to ask the obvious question that will now be on the minds of the people reading this, as well as millions of others across the country.
Embarrassing revelations
Wait a minute, you mean to say that, until now, the British state and politicians were not making these statistics available to citizens and taxpayers? It’s utterly bizarre, isn’t it?
On the one hand, we have a political class that has spent decades telling us â no, screaming at us â that is good for British society, and we should just blindly “trust the experts”;.
But on the other hand, this same political class has been refusing to show you, the people, how this deliberate policy of mass immigration has been changing our country, including rates of crime.
Even this week, after Labour’s announcement, we have been treated to the bizarre spectacle of the woke establishment, from The Guardian to James O’Brien, complaining about how releasing these statistics and telling people what’s really going on in this country might, get this, “cause division”;.
That’s right â the very same people who have not stopped moaning and wailing about things like Brexit being caused by “misinformation”; are now suddenly outraged by the state giving the British people information about an issue they think should be kept hidden under the carpet.
Why? Because they know what we know â the more information that comes to light, the more statistics that are released, the more people will conclude that, actually, mass immigration is not good for our society.
Indeed, while the Labour government will never admit this, the truth of the matter is they only agreed to release these statistics because they were forced into doing so by campaigners and a string of embarrassing revelations.
While a few renegade Conservative and Reform MPs, alongside campaigners like myself, have been demanding Labour release this information, in recent months several bombshell studies, based on Freedom of Information requests, have also ensured the Labour government and the British state can no longer ignore this glaring lack of transparency.
Take, for example, one shocking study by the Centre for Migration Control, which painstakingly pursued the truth by submitting Freedom of Information requests to authorities across the country.
Astonishingly, it found that foreign nationals are 71 per cent more likely than British people to be convicted for sex crimes, while migrants from Afghanistan and Eritrea are 20 times more likely than Brits to be convicted of sexual offences.
The more information that comes to light, the more statistics that are released, the more people will conclude that, actually, mass immigration is not good for our society
Diversity is our strength, eh?
Clearly, not all immigrants cause crime but the finding that no less than 87 nationalities have higher conviction rates for rape and sexual offences than Brits should be ringing some very loud alarm bells and leading the state to release more information.
And nor are these the only sobering findings.
Foreign nationals, these Freedom of Information requests also suggest, are nearly 70 per cent more likely than Brits to be convicted for drug crimes, and 25 per cent more likely to be convicted for theft, with migrants from , Moldova, Congo, Namibia, and Somalia among the most likely to commit crime.
In fact, based on what limited data we have, between 2021 and 2023, more than 100,000 foreign nationals were convicted of serious crimes â including violence, robbery, theft and drug dealing â in and . Think about that â more than 100,000 serious crimes in just two years.
I’ve not heard , Yvette Cooper, , BBC Verify, or woke progressives such as James O’Brien, or Rory Stewart talk about this. Have you?

Elite outrage
And while our useless politicians continue to bleat on about “misinformation”;, there’s still a lot of information they are deliberately hiding from you, the hard-working, law-abiding, tax-paying British people, who are far more likely than the elite to have to live with the disastrous effects of these policies.
While, again, you will not hear about this amid all the elite outrage about “misinformation”; and “disinformation”;, the blunt reality is it is the state that has either stopped collecting, or refuses to collect, information about how our population is growing, plus people’s earnings, tax payments and more by nationality and country of birth.
This means it’s impossible to accurately assess the impact of immigration on society.
And while Labour is right to finally release data on crimes committed by foreign nationals awaiting deportation, why stop there?
Here’s what I would ask Keir Starmer and Yvette Cooper: Why not release all the information you have on arrest and conviction rates by nationality, immigration status, and ethnicity, so we can fully make sense of what is going on in this country and then reshape our immigration policy around people who are not disproportionately more likely to commit crimes?
Because I don’t know about you, but my view is this: The British people deserve to know the truth about what is happening in their own country.
British taxpayers deserve to have information about how these major policy decisions, taken by their elected representatives, are changing our communities and country.
Not least as morally righteous elites in London, and lecture the rest of the country about the importance of evidence and experts.
I can see this is the fair and right thing to do.
The British people can see this is the fair and right thing to do. So why can’t Keir Starmer, the Labour government, and the state?
