Gunmen attack Kaduna community, abduct residents

Unknown gunmen have attacked a Fulani settlement in Dusten Bako village, Ikulu chiefdom, in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The incident occurred on April 3, 2025.

It was gathered that the attackers abducted an unspecified number of people, taking them to an unknown destination.

A source told DAILY POST that security forces swiftly responded to the situation and mobilized to the scene to assess the situation.

He further explained that efforts are currently underway to track down the perpetrators and ensure the safe rescue of those abducted.

The incident has raised concerns about the security situation in the area as residents anxiously await the safe return of the abducted individuals.

The identity of the attackers and their motives are yet to be ascertained.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan promised to call back but has not done so at the time of filing this report.
