FORMER Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan approached the show’s bosses about a return to the cobbles but was told there was no way back.
was keen to reprise her role on the ITV soap as ditzy Rosie Webster.



She played her from 2000 but left two years later.
Later that year, she appeared on
returned to the role in 2017 but left again the following year and has not been in the soap since.
She appeared on in 2023 and was on last year.
But a pal said: “She has had enough of reality TV and would like a regular job.
“Helen recently spoke to a top Corrie producer about the possibility of coming back, but her character wouldn’t currently feed into any plots that are playing out.”;
Last month, Helen told The Sun on Sunday: “I’d absolutely love to go back to Coronation Street, I really, really would.
“I’d love to see Rosie Webster come back as a single mum, having just left her partner.
“She’d dump her two kids with Sally and I think she would be an iconic barmaid at Rovers Return.”;
The snub came as it emerged she was selling her £1million, eight bedroom home after her split from footballer .
Helen, who has three children with Scott, 36, said it was a struggle to manage the upkeep of the home in Bolton.
She said: “It makes me sad I’m gonna be leaving.”;
