Horse racing tips: ‘Handicapper can’t keep up with him’ – Templegate’s Monday NAP

Published on April 13, 2025 at 10:59 PM

TEMPLEGATE'S Monday picks are below.

Back a horse by clicking their odds.

PARTISAN HERO (4.05 Pontefract, nap)

He won here cosily last week and has the perfect draw again to kick on and make all. He has the handicapper on the run at the moment and can streak clear again in a quiet race.

RUMBA BAY (3.05 Pontefract, nb)

Has been in fine form of late and will take all the beating. He has a bit to prove back on turf but a 3lb rise for his latest win looks very generous. It is still early days for this horse with his trainer and he looks set to rise through the ranks now.

AUDACIOUS ANNIE (6.10 Warwick, treble)

Improved to win a quiet race at Wetherby last time. This doesn’t look much harder despite a penalty and trainer Jamie Snowden is finishing the season strongly. She’ll like the quick ground too.

QITAAL (3.35 Pontefract, Lucky 15)

Returned with a rock solid third at Doncaster and should get right amongst it here with a repeat effort. He enjoys tight, turning tracks and this trip is spot on for him.
