Inside plans for incredible new 240-room hotel with huge swimming lake, golf and spa near to iconic racetrack

PLANS for an incredible new 240-room hotel with a huge swimming lake, golf and spa near an iconic racetrack have finally been approved.

The Club in is set to stretch across five levels and include , a gym, a sports pavilion and range.

Plans for its creation was approved by Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council's planning committee on April 2.

Inside the spa, its facilities include an indoor and outdoor pool, treatment rooms, a cafe and lounge area, and a relaxation room.

There will also be a shop and co-working space.

The Golf Club itself will be based at South Ash Manor in Ash in Sevenoaks.

It will span from to Tonbridge & Malling.

South Ash Manor, a grade-II-listed building will be transformed from offices to visitor accommodation.

Tonbridge and Malling will hold 73 of its , while the rest will fall in the Sevenoaks area.

Sevenoaks will also hold an artificial pitch and an development including an arena and new stables.

The sports pavilion will have a restaurant and bar, which leads to a terrace, gym and studios, sporting shop and changing facilities.

Nearby will be a “kids club” with its own entrance.

There will also be a natural lake and lake house with changing facilities and floodlit and padel courts.

Five lodges, based in an ancient woodland, will even take the form of “treehouses”.

Every lodge will be spacious with varying numbers of bedrooms.

They will be accessible via buggy and great for various group sizes.

An underpass built under Ash Lane will unite the main golf club site to the eastern land.

Meanwhile, the existing will be moved to the east of Ash Lane.

There will be driving range bays, studios, a lounge area, putting studio, office, reception and changing facilities.

Alongside this will be a training centre, called Callaway Elite Performance Centre.

The London Golf Club predicts it will be one of the facilities for tour player support and golf equipment fitting.

It will also include a floodlit driving range.

Plans also include a registry office, a wedding venue, accommodation and facilities in various buildings.

These include South Ash Manor, South Ash Barn and South Ash Stables.

Plus, The Sports Turf Academy will have a range of sporting surfaces including a 3G multi-use sports pitch.

Buildings will also house classrooms, event spaces, workshop spaces, toilets, a kitchen and storage.

The golf course and clubhouse upgrade is set to help the club in a bid to host a tournament.

Concerns about traffic and noise have also been raised and addressed, the committee said.

The London Golf Club added scheme will create jobs in the area, construction-wise and in subsequent operation.

Other exciting openings

It comes after the with a 500-room hotel finally got the green light.

One of Europe’s largest entertainment resorts, with doors opening in 2031.

The resort, which will also feature a 500-room hotel, is expected to create 20,000 during its construction, with an additional 8,000 roles once it opens its doors in the next decade.

Plans for a have also been recently revealed.

The giant floating has been proposed for Bay, , in order to “enrich the city's waterfront and elevate visitor experiences”.

The floating hotel's architecture has been described as combining “regional character with contemporary design”, and it aims to appeal to both leisure and travellers.
