A LUCKY lotto winner pocketed a £100,000 jackpot thanks to a nifty trick that's completely legal.

James and Philip Corcoran, from Leeds in , were gobsmacked to learn they'd bagged the life-changing Postcode Lottery prize.

The father and son duo also revealed a sneaky little hack they used to scoop such a sum.

Hairdresser James told how he doesn't actually live at his parents' address anymore – but kept playing despite moving out two years ago.

He won a staggering £150,000, while his dad received £50,000.

“I'm buzzing. I don't live here anymore, but I didn't want to cancel,” James told the

“Imagine how gutting it would have been for them to win that, and I would have had nowt. I didn't want them winning and not me!”

Dad Philip added:“Can I have that one? He stole my postcode and won more than I did. But he needs it more than I do.”

The family were one of 13 neighbours of the LS15 0HQ postcode who celebrated jackpots.

Every winning ticket was worth £50,000, but James tripled his prize with three entries – while his dad doubled his with two.

James shared how he will splash the cash on some fancy home renovations.

“I'm going to continue to renovate my house after doing up my salon – The Haus Of JC Hair – in a garden room. I've already done the bathroom,” he said.

“I going to open a bottle of champagne and I'll take my sausage dogs to go and get a little brother or sister.”

James added: “I just started playing one day and stuck with it. Once you've started you don't want to cancel, do you? I'm going to keep playing here, but I'll also sign up at my new address.”

Retired Philip is also planning some home improvements – with a few holidays thrown in too.

He said: “It's absolutely marvellous. That's me Euros for me holiday. You can't beat that, can you? We've got a few holidays booked. This will also go to doing up some of the house.

“We're going to Zante with Rachel, our daughter, and the kids and then in September we’re going back to Zante again and then in November we're going to Marrakech. Can't take it with you.”

The former street lighting technician also revealed his son had even made a joke about winning the same day they were handed the giant cheque.

He said in one text to James: “Your mum's made lasagne. You can have lasagne for your tea when you come round.

“So James said, ‘If I win any money today, I won't be eating mince again and certainly not my mum's lasagne!'”

Mum Lorraine dubbed the entire ordeal as “absolutely fabulous”.

“I can't believe it. James has brought champagne down, so we'll have a big party this afternoon most probably,” she said.

The grandmother added:“We're already booked to go to Mexico in July for our 40th wedding anniversary.”

This comes after a couple couldn't believe their luck when they

Neil and Hayley, both from Darwen,, bagged a cool £30,000 after signing up for the People’s Postcode Lottery just three months ago.
