I HAVE really struggled to find a good carpet cleaner that actually works to remove stains and make the home smell nice at the same time.
So when I heard that Zoflora had released its own carpet care foam, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it.
The disinfectant giant is my go-to for cleaning supplies, not only because it creates gorgeous fragrances, but also because my house has never felt cleaner and fresher after using their products.
But to really put it to the test, I tried their new carpet cleaner in the fan-favourite Sprintime scent, which is an invigorating blend of spring flowers and freshly cut green leaves with mood-boosting citrus notes.
The winter completely took a toll on my carpets and the rug in my living room – between the muddy shoes and accidental spillages, I struggled to get the stubborn marks out.
Which is why I was praying that Zoflora's new carpet would work – and oh my it did.
I am absolutely obsessed with this product – I actually can't believe how well it worked. And also how QUICKLY it got rid of all traces of marks and stains.
I tried it first on the bottom step of my staircase. This step often gets marked because it's where we sit to put our shoes on.
I've tried countless other products over winter to clean it up, but until now, nothing has lifted it.
I held the bottle about 30cm away from the spot I wanted to clean and sprayed the cleaner over the stain.
Then, after letting it soak for a few seconds, I gave it a quick scrub with a sponge.
Within 30 seconds, the whole stain had lifted, and the carpet was spotless!
I'm not joking when I say it worked in 30 seconds – it was easy, effortless, and so efficient that it has completely changed the way I clean around the house.
To make sure it wasn't just a one-off, I moved to my rug, where there was a very stubborn Pepsi Max spill stain that would not go away.
Again, I sprayed it over the marks and rubbed it with a small sponge, and again the stain disappeared like magic – it looked just as good as if it was never there in the first place.
I even timed it on my phone, and it cleared up every trace of the mess within 27 seconds. I've never had a product that works so well and so quickly before!
What makes it even better is that there is no vacuuming involved.
With other products I've tried, I've usually had to give the area a quick vacuum afterwards before I can see a difference.
But this deep-cleaning product takes away that hassle as well, making it even more effortless, if that's possible.
The cleaner penetrates deep into the fibres to lift dirt and eliminate trapped odours, making it ideal for high-traffic areas.
It also makes it perfect for people who are constantly busy and on the go, or for those with kids who don't always have the time to scrub and scrub and then vacuum to clean the carpet.
After I used it, I instantly noticed that it made the room smell incredible – the new scent really does smell like spring in a bottle.
I expected the scent the die down over time, but a few hours later, I left the house and returned to be greeted with the refreshing scent again as soon as I walked into the room.
It was so pungent and flavorful that I could have sworn that someone had sprayed an air freshener moments before was walked in.
I have been gushing over this carpet cleaner from the moment I tried it – it is without a doubt the perfect product, and it has completely changed the way I clean the house.
It's effortless, smells incredible, and works in seconds. I cannot recommend it enough.
And as an added bonus, it only costs £4.50 in supermarkets like Asda. Since you don't need to use a lot of it at one time, it makes it well worth adding to the basket.
For me, this is the best carpet cleaner on the market, and I highly doubt I'll be buying any other product for my home in the future.
