Baller League lands major UK broadcast deal ahead of draft with star-studded competition to be shown on TV

TOTTENHAM academy and Solent University student Jesse Waller-Lassen has been drafted to play in the Baller League

The former Tottenham Hotspur academy player who studied at Solent University where he coached both their men's and ladies' teams.

He was picked No 9 overall by YouTube star Miniminter, who will be managing M7FC.

Waller-Lassen is now a full-time coach and is the founder of Strive Football Academy.

He was one of Hashtag United‘s most popular stars but left the team due to travelling.

Waller-Lassen has built an impressive social media following thanks to his coaching content.

What is the Baller League and where can I watch it?

  • Youtube sensation and boxer KSI will be the president of the Baller League.
  • Games will consist of two 15 minute halves
  • After 11 games, the top four placed teams will meet in the play-offs to determine the winner of the competition.
  • Games will be played weekly every Monday from March 24, and will stream live on YouTube and Twitch, as well as be shown on Sky Sports in the UK.
  • Alternatively, SunSport will LIVE BLOG every match.
  • Coverage on Sky Spors Mix starts from 5pm.
  • The first match of the evening begins at 5.35pm with six games every night.
  • Celebrities, futsal players, and former players will compete in the indoor football tournament.
  • Premier League legends such as John Terry, Alan Shearer, Robert Pires, Gary Lineker and Ian Wright are all managers in the Baller League with the likes of Luis Figo, Alisha Lehmann, Chloe Kelly, rapper Dave and content creators AngryGinge and Tobi Brown.
  • Every match of the competition will take place at the Copper Box Arena in London.
