Upcoming film “Big Deal”; has unveiled new posters featuring its cast!
“Big Deal”; follows the story of Pyo Jong Rok (Yoo Hae Jin), a chief financial officer who treats his soju company like family, and Choi In Bum (Lee Je Hoon), a profit-driven employee at a global investment firm. Set during the 1997 IMF financial crisis, the two clash over the future of Korea’s beloved national liquor.
One poster introduces Pyo Jong Rok, whose intense gaze is paired with the phrase “Protect it!”; As CFO of Gukbo, he’s determined to safeguard Gukbo Soju at all costs. With the company on the brink of collapse amid the financial crisis, Pyo Jong Rok does everything he can—meeting with investors, consulting law firms, and even promoting soju himself—to try to save the business. His unwavering commitment raises questions about whether he can protect both his beliefs and the legacy of Gukbo Soju.
Opposing him is Choi In Bum, whose poster features a fierce, almost predatory gaze, paired with the phrase “Devour it!”; A results-driven and ambitious employee at SolQueen, a powerful global investment firm, Choi In Bum approaches Jong Rok with a strategic plan to take over Gukbo Group. His role leaves viewers eager to see his performance.
Another poster spotlights Chairman Seok Jin Woo (Son Hyun Joo). As the head of Gukbo Group, he firmly believes that soju—long cherished by the public—will never fail. His resolute expression is accompanied by the phrase “Block it!”; capturing his strength and determination to stand his ground.
The final poster revealed is Koo Young Mo (Choi Young Joon), a relatively unknown but capable attorney overseeing crisis management at Gukbo. His poster reads “Fight it!”; paired with a focused, determined look. It hints at his commitment as the company’s legal defender and builds intrigue around how he’ll tackle the legal challenges ahead.
“Big Deal”; is set to hit theaters on June 3.
