Lock, Stock star rushed to hospital and in intensive care after ‘major surgery’ and friend says ‘he needs your prayers’

A LOCK, Stock star has been rushed to hospital for ‘major surgery' as a friend shared a health update with fans.

English actor and filmmaker can be seen lying in intensive care in a shock image posted to social media.

The 55-year-old can be seen in a neck brace and alert as he gave a thumbs up to the camera.

His pal and fellow actor Terry Stone told fans: “News update for you all on Nick Moran.

“He’s had major and is recovering in the ICU he’s giving us the thumbs up but still needs your support, prayers & love.”

“Let’s pray he fully recovers and is be back to normal soon.”

Nick isn't on social media and his friend Terry said he is a “very private person”.

He added: “If there are any further updates on Nick I will let you all know in the live chat this coming Sunday.”

Nick's best known for his roles in ‘s Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) and and the Deathly Hallows Part One (2010).

Born in December 1968, he grew up in before making his mark on the British film industry.

Nick has also enjoyed a varied career in television with roles in Heartbeat, , Midsomer Murders and more recently he starred in Mr Selfridge.

In May 2017, Nick starred as Barbara Windsor's father in Babs, the BBC biopic based on her life.

The actor also showed off his culinary skills in the same year .
