Morocco 2025: Flamingos target high-margin win over Algeria

Flamingos head coach Bankole Olowookere says his side will aspire for a big win against Algeria in their 2025 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup qualifier.

Nigeria will host the North Africans in the first leg of their final qualifying round contest.

The encounter will hold at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne on Saturday.

Olowookere declared that it is important for for his team to secure a comfortable victory.

“We have been working very hard to correct the lapses noticed in our last matches (against South Africa), and we believe we are in good form to achieve a handsome win here and then go all out in the second leg in Algeria,”; Olowookere told thenff.com.

The return is scheduled for the Stade Mustapha Tchaker in Blida (outside Algeria) on Friday, 25th April.
