Morocco 2025: Flamingos thrash Algeria 4-0 in Ikenne

Nigeria's Flamingos thrashed Algeria 4–0 in the first leg of their 2025 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup final qualifying round encounter in Ikenne on Saturday.

Queens Joseph opened the scoring for the Flamingos after just three minutes.

The hosts doubled their lead through Zainab Oluwaseun in the 13th minute.

Joseph netted her second of the game three minutes later.

Substitute Aishat Animashaun put the icing on the cake with the fourth goal on the stroke of the 90th minute.

The return leg will take place on Friday, 25 April at the Mustapha Tchaker Stadium in Blida.
