M&S shoppers have been left devastated upon learning that a beloved dessert has been discontinued.
The product's axe was confirmed after a curious shopper took to social media to inquire about its whereabouts.

They said on X (formerly Twitter): “M&S please say Banana Caramel & Blond Chocolate cake isn't discontinued.
“It's like the Cereal Milk Clusters all over again.
“Why do the best things have to go.”
In response, M&S employee Charley said: “I'm so sorry Shiver, but it does seem that we no longer sell this product.
“However, I've shared your comments with the Food team for them to and consider bringing back in the internally.”
It's not the only item to have been axed by M&S in recent weeks.
The cake first launched in M&S Food halls back in 2021 and cost £7.
It contained banana cake topped and filled with caramelised blond chocolate ganache and salted caramel.
At the time of its launch shoppers raved about the find online.
One customer said on Facebook: “It tastes divine.”
Another said: “Heaven”.
