Elon Musk of the Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE, has accused the Democrats of bringing and retaining illegal immigrants in the United States for electoral purposes.
Musk alleged that the Democrats use certain federal funding to retain illegal immigrants in a bid to gain more votes during elections.
In an interview with Fox News, the tech billionaire opined that the Democrats are opposed to the ongoing crackdown on illegal immigrants.
Musk also stated that while turning “off this gigantic money magnet for illegal immigrants” would make them leave the US, Democrats would be angry because they “will lose voters.”
He said, “Most of the Federal spending is entitlements, so that's like the big one to eliminate. Because that's the sort of half trillion maybe $600 or $700 billion in a year.
“That is also the mechanism by which the Democrats attract and retain illegal immigrants by essentially paying them to come here and then turn them into voters.
“This is why the Democrats are so upset about the situation because they are losing. Where you will see the biggest outcry is from the Democrats. They don't want the waste and fraud to be turned off because it is a gigantic magnet to attract illegal immigrants and have them stay in the country.”
