Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has approved the appointment of 22 additional Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and 40 Special Assistants (SAs) as part of efforts to deepen inclusive governance and enhance service delivery.
The announcement was made in a statement released on Monday evening by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, in Lafia.
Among the newly appointed SSAs are several former members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly. Key appointments include:
Bala Mulki â SSA on NAGIS
Bawa Rabo â SSA on KAPDA
Peter Igeche â SSA on Culture
Abdullahi Ibrahim Hassan â SSA on Chieftaincy Affairs
Hashimu Suleiman Adda â SSA on Education
Abdullahi Angibi â SSA on Local Government Affairs
Barr. Danjuma Inusa Buji â SSA on Legal Services
Mrs Larai Makpu â SSA on Youth Development
Raymond Akolo â SSA on Assembly Affairs
Others include Abdullahi Yakubu Doma (Security), Beauty Ebu Onyawoyi (Women Affairs), Shittu Yakubu Musa (Pension Matters), Mohammed Baba Namu (Science and Technology), and Mohammed Osu Lafiya (Humanitarian Affairs), among others.

Magaji stated that the appointments are with immediate effect, stating that they reflect the administration’s inclusive approach and commitment to efficient governance.
