Navy disowns third-party agent for sale of properties, warns against fraudsters

The Navy Holdings Limited, NHL, has disowned a third-party agent allegedly involved in the sale of its properties at Lake View Estate, Navy Town, Asokoro, Abuja.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of NHL, Commander Abdulsalam Sani, on Thursday in Abuja.

Sani stated that NHL had not engaged the services of any third party as an agent to facilitate the sale of its land or properties.

He affirmed that NHL, being the sole owner of Navy lands, deals directly with its subscribers, advising prospective buyers not to transact with any individual posing as an agent.

According to him, some unscrupulous elements attempting to defraud unsuspecting Nigerians have been circulating a video on online platforms, advertising Nigerian Navy properties at Lake View Estate, Navy Town, Asokoro.

“While NHL works to unravel the faces of those behind this attempted fraud, the NHL wishes to state that anyone who intends to subscribe to any of its lands or property can visit its office on Aso Clinic Road, Asokoro, adjacent to Army War College Nigeria,”; he said.
