A COUPLE were left horrified after spending years creating their ‘dream garden’, only for their neighbour to ruin it in minutes.
They shared how they’d transformed their to have a stylisharea with grey stones, which looked perfect for hosting friends and family.
While the finished result looked great, the chic look was short-lived, after the person next door decided to with a sprayer.
On their @weir_home account, they wrote: “They don’t know it yet but they’re going to spend years creating their dream garden on a budget, just for their neighbours to use a spray gun on their fence and ruin it all.”;
In the clip they showed how brown paint had slats and onto their grey stones.
They added: “Not the side of the house too.
“Petition to ban using paint spray guns on your fence if you have neighbours.”;
The woman said she had noticed the damage, but the man next door had continued spraying the next day too.
She shared: “He started doing it again the next day so I shouted over the fence to stop as it’s covering our garden.
“He came round and seen the damage but then nothing further happened.”;
The paint residue covered their decking, stones, grass and resulted in her having to throw out some plant pots.
The outcome was frustrating, particularly as they claimed they had been so careful with their side.
The Weir Home couple shared: “We own our house & painted ours without getting permission etc.
“However we were super careful and took our time doing it all with a paintbrush to make sure neighbours didn’t get any on their side.”;
The video has racked up 13,000 likes, and many people said they would have been annoyed too.
One said: “That’s so annoying! Specially when you’ve made it look so beautiful.”;
Another added: “Honestly some people are sooo unaware of their surroundings.”;
However, one person claimed that she was being “dramatic.”
They commented: “I mean a tiny bit dramatic, it's only a little splash by the looks of things, your garden still looks great.
“Just needs a touch up.”;
The woman hit back saying: “Yeah my decking, stones, grass, side of the house, plants, plant pots I had to throw out.
“Bins and fence is just a splash. I didn’t put them all in the clip but trust me, I wish it was a splash.”;
