Published on April 15, 2025 at 05:20 AM

Kano Pillars technical adviser, Usman Abdallah has expressed optimism in his team's chances of securing a continental ticket.

The Sai Masu Gida gave their continental ambitions a boost with a 2-0 win over Lobi Stars.

Ahmed Musa and Naziru Auwalu were on target for Kano Pillars in the game.

Abdallah expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the game.

“We needed this win badly. It boosts the morale in the dressing room and sets the tone for the final stretch,” Abdallah stated after the game.

“We are not giving up on continental qualification. There’s still a lot to fight for.”

Kano Pillars occupy seventh position on the league table with 47 points.
