NPFL: Kano Pillars will compete for title next season – Abuchi

Published on April 27, 2025 at 10:03 AM

Kano Pillars goalkeeper, Destiny Abuchi says that the club will come back stronger in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) next season.

The Sai Masu Gida failed to live to expectations in the NPFL this season.

Kano Pillars have recorded 14 wins, eight draws and 13 defeats in 35 matches.

Usman Abdallah's side have a slim chance of claiming a continental ticket.

“I want to assure our fans that we are coming back stronger than before next season, winning is Kano Pillars tradition so we are coming back to the tradition,” Abuchi told Nigerian Players Gallery.

“I want to thank my teammates for the job well done, most especially the Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa, MON. He encourages and supports us on and off the pitch.”

Kano Pillars will take on Katsina United in a matchday 35 fixture on Sunday (today).
