NPFL: Nasarawa United players get N1m for win over Akwa United

Nasarawa United players have been rewarded with a sum of N1m for their matchday 32 victory over Akwa United.

The state commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Kwanta Yakubu, presented the cash gift to the players after the game on Sunday.

Ugochukwu Leonard and Garba Abubakar's goals gave Nasarawa United a 2-0 win over the Promise Keepers at the Lafia City Stadium.

Nasarawa United moved out of the relegation zone following the win.

The Solid Miners have earned 39 points from 32 matches this season.

They will take on Plateau United in their next league game.
