NPFL: Osimhen rewards Remo Stars with N10m for historic title win

Published on April 29, 2025 at 04:55 PM

Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has gifted Remo Stars N10 million for winning the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, title.

Osimhen doled out N5 million to the players, and another N5 million to the technical crew.

The Galatasaray striker also congratulated the players and praised them for their tenacity.

DAILY POST recalls that Remo Stars won their maiden NPFL title following a hard-earned 1-0 win over Niger Tornadoes in Ikenne on Sunday.

Olamilekan Adedayo scored the historic goal in the 84th minute of the encounter.

The Sky Blue Stars made history as the first privately owned club to win the league since Julius Berger in the year 2000.
