Published on April 28, 2025 at 07:44 AM

Nasarawa United technical adviser, Salisu Yusuf, has described his team's 1-0 win over Heartland a morale booster.

Anas Yusuf's lone strike gave Nasarawa United maximum points against relegation threatening Heartland at the Pantami Stadium on Sunday.

Salisu assured that his team will continue to fight for the remaining points this season.

“This win is a significant morale booster for our team, and we are proud of every player's effort,” Salisu stated in a post-match interview.

“With three matches remaining before the League comes to an end, we are focused on taking it one game at a time and pushing for every point possible.”

Nasarawa United sit in 13th position on the table with 46 points.
