NWFL: Ogbala hails Heartland Queens display in draw with Remo Stars Ladies

Heartland Queens head coach, Obi Ogbala has commended his players for the draw against Remo Stars Ladies in the matchday 12 fixture of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL).

The Owerri club club were held to a 1-1 draw by Remo Stars Ladies at the Dan Anyiam Stadium.

Ogbala assured his team will improve on their performance in the remaining matches of the season.

“My girls played well, they didn't lose any steam in the game against Remo Stars Ladies,” Ogbala stated to the media.

“The players played to instructions throughout the encounter.

“We will continue to work on them, I think Imolites have seen the best of Heartland Queens irrespective of the criticism.

“The players are new together and gradually we will continue to get the best out of them.”

Heartland Queens occupy sixth position on the Group A of the NWFL table with nine points.

They will be up against Dannaz Ladies in a matchday 13 fixture in Lagos next weekend.
