NWFL: Rivers Angels disappointed with defeat to Robo Queens

Published on April 10, 2025 at 08:35 AM

Rivers Angels have expressed disappointment with their 3-0 defeat to FC Robo Queens, DAILY POST reports.

The defeat put an end to the former champions’ 10-game unbeaten run.

The Port Harcourt club have immediately shifted focus to their next game.

“Sadly, our unbeaten run comes to an end in Lagos,” Rivers Angels wrote on their Facebook page.

“Despite the setback, the team will regroup and focus on the next challenge.”

Rivers Angels remain in second position on the Group B league table despite the defeat.

They will take on Delta Queens in their next game at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.
