Published on April 07, 2025 at 07:23 PM

Rivers Angels head coach, Tosan Blackson, has expressed the team's determination to secure victory in their clash against Robo Queens.

The former Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL champions will take on Robo Queens at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, on Wednesday.

Blackson is confident in his team's ability to achieve a positive result in the game.

“We arrived in Lagos on time because we are here for serious business,” Blackson stated ahead of the game.

“We know that it’s going to be a tough match on Wednesday. We needed to arrive in Lagos promptly so that the players could recover in time and prepare for the match.

“Our preparations have been meticulous, as always. Both players and technical staff are primed for the challenge ahead.

“We know they will come at us fully, having been defeated in the first round, but we are ready to absorb whatever they throw at us.”
