NWFL: Win over Confluence Queens will boost Abia Angels’ playoff hopes – Coach Nnah

Abia Angels head coach, Adanna Nnah says that the matchday 12 win over Confluence Queens has boosted the team's chance of qualifying for the Super Six playoff tournament.

Winner Onajite's lone goal gave Abia Angels a 1-0 win over Confluence Queens at the Prince Abubakar Audu University Stadium,Ayangba on Tuesday

Nnah commended the players for their hard work.

” We are happy we got the desired result in Kogi,” Nnah stated after the game.

“The journey towards the super six playoffs is still intact.

“As we continue the race with subsequent games ahead so is not yet Uhuru until we achieve our aim for the season.”

Abia Angels remain in fourth position on the Group A league table with 22 points from 12 matches.
