The Olubadan Advisory Council has terminated the appointment of no fewer than two Mogajis (family heads).

The termination of the appointment was contained in a statement signed Chief Solomon Olugbemiga Ayoade, the Chief Press Secretary to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin.

The statement was made available to DAILY POST on Friday.

The statement said that the termination of the appointment was approved by the Olubadan Advisory Council and the Olubadan of Ibadanland.

The two Mogajis included Chief Musilu Yekini Olaoye of Peluseriki compound, Isale Osi, Ibadan and Chief Rasaki Funso Ayinde Oguntobi of Oloola Ogungbesan compound, Bode, Ibadan.

The statement noted that the termination of the appointment takes immediately effect.

The statement added that the appointment of the duo was terminated as a result of the protest against their appointment by family members and other offences detrimental to their position as Mogajis.

The statement cautioned the two individuals to stop parading themselves as Mogajis.
