FOUR people have been killed after a plane struck power lines and crashed in a field.

No survivors were found after the tragic accident on Saturday morning in Trilla, Illinois.

Local police said the single-engine plane crashed just 200 miles south of Chicago at around 10:15am.

The deadly crash occurred after the plane hit a set of power lines, according to CBS News.
