Published on April 16, 2025 at 02:43 PM

Security operatives in Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State have arrested two suspected kidnappers, following a tip-off from local hunters.

The suspects, identified as Sani Liman (23) from Unguwan Fa Raminkura and Murtala Magaji alias “Seto”; (25) from Dambata Galadimawa village in Kauru LGA, were apprehended on April 15, 2025, around 1:30 PM by police personnel from Saminaka.

Preliminary investigations suggest the two may be connected to recent kidnapping incidents in the region.

Security expert, Zagazola Makama said the suspects are currently in police custody and will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation.
