They grow up so quickly, don’t they? Presley Gerber, the 22-year-old son of Casamigos founder Rande Gerber and former supermodel Cindy Crawford is striking out on his own in the cutthroat world of fashion. And to mark his transition from the surfboard to the boardroom, he’s had to make some very adult decisions. According to Page Six, all but the faintest reminder of his “misunderstood”; youth remains on his face. It appears he’s had the facial tattoo lasered off along with any of the lines and wrinkles that come with dedicated hard work. Presley is reborn a man. A man dedicated to the toil of slapping his name on a capsule collection called “Cali Sober”; for the clothing company Local Authority.
Presley first skidded onto the scene in the wee hours of New Years Day 2019 when he was charged with a DUI after getting pulled over for speeding in his Tesla in Beverly Hills at the tender age of 19. He spent 2020 collecting a wide range of terrible tattoos including a handgun on his torso, Malibu’s Most Wanted area code on his tummy, and the word “misunderstood”; under his right eye.
When people teased him about it, Presley twice mounted a vigorous defense of the face tattoo on Instagram live, comparing the decision to people who “change genders”; and telling his haters, presumably mom, dad, and his modeling agent, “fuck you if you don’t like it.”; Well, fuck me, what a difference a year makes! Page Six reports:
“Misunderstood”; no more.
A little over a year after debuting his polarizing under-eye tattoo, Presley Gerber appears to be doing an about-face.
Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s 22-year-old son stepped out in Malibu Monday sporting only faint traces of the “misunderstood”; tat on his right cheek, suggesting he’s had it removed.
It looks as if this bad boy for life has pivoted to weed, golf, and light beer. This was posted last month.

And here he is in April of this year, slightly faded now, as he takes part in the venerated right of passage that is … driving one's grandfather's car for the first time while face-timing your dad? Must be a Malibu thing.

Presley's sister Kaia Gerber dated Pete Davidson who later decided to get his doodle board erased. So maybe some of Pete's wisdom and maturity rubbed off (Presley's face). Cali Sober — it's more than a lifestyle, it's a way to keep your folks off your back!
