Hollywood stars hit red carpet as Jennifer Lopez, Cindy Crawford & Pierce Brosnan turn out for George Clooney’s new show

HOLLYWOOD A-listers have hit the red carpet for George Clooney's new show.

Good Night, and Good Luck was originally a movie directed by George, 63, which came out in 2005.

And now the actor-director is bringing his drama to the stage and also playing the lead role.

The film – and now Broadway production – follows Senator Joseph McCarthy, who sensationalises the threat of communism and tries to create a wave of fear among people to take advantage of it.

In the movie, a reporter and his producer decide to expose the senator.

Last night, celebrities turned out for the glitzy opening night.

Leading man George Clooney posed in front of the Winter Garden Theater ahead of the show starting on Thursday night.

The hunky actor was dressed in a simple yet chic black suit, complete with a white button down shirt, a black bowtie and a sweet smile.

George's hair appeared to look darker than usual, with the actor looking less distinguished than he has in recent months.

Meanwhile, several other stars were in attendance for the star-studded opening night.

Jennifer Lopez looked beautiful while attending the event, with the hitmaker and actress rocking a rather elaborate frock.

JLo wore a floor-length, figure-hugging black plunging gown, complete with a huge white puffy cape.

The stunning singer looked amazing as she posed up a storm on the red carpet.

Pierce Brosnan and his wifeKeely Shaye Smith were also in attendance, with the GoldenEye hunk looking dapper in a suit with shades.

Meanwhile, , wore a black lace gown that had a plunging neckline.

The couple looked as smitten as ever as they posed on the red carpet before heading inside the event.

Another beautiful star who rocked a plunging neckline was The Good Wife star Julianna Margulies, who attended with her husband.

Australian pop legend Kylie Minogue was also in attendance.

Kylie, who is 56, looked ageless as she posed and waved on the red carpet.

The I Should Be So Lucky singer wore a strapless black gown with cut out detailing on the front.

She completed the look with a feathery shrug and wore her blond locks down and tousled.

American activist Monica Lewinsky was also seen on the red carpet.

Smiling and beaming, the brunette beauty rocked an off-the-shoulder black frock for the occasion.

Kaia Gerber, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber also posed up a storm while at the event.

Cindy and Rande are mom and dad to Kaia, with the famous couple tying the knot in May 1998.

They welcomed their first child, Presley, in July 1999, and then Kaia later arrived in September 2001.

Blond bombshell and the mother of Maya Hawke, Uma Thurman, also attended the glitzy event.

Rocking a silk gown, the wife of Ethan Hawke beamed as she posed on the red carpet before heading inside.

The Kill Bill star looked fresh-faced and was simply glowing as she beamed for the cameras.
