An accessory that helps get around this is the solar charger.

And with starting to this week it could be the best time to consider one.

“I’ve had mine since the end of February and I’ve not had to charge mine since,”; one buyer wrote on HotUKDeals.

“Really made a difference for me.”;

Another said: “This is decent.

“Extends battery but does not stop need for recharge especially in winter. It’s worth it for the money.”;

The device works with selected Ring doorbell models, including:

  • Ring Doorbell 3
  • Ring Doorbell 3 Plus

  • Ring Doorbell Plus
  • Ring Doorbell Battery Pro

But currently a highly-rated seller is listing the official device for £20.

You can save even more with a discount code at the moment.

Selected accounts can add the code LOOPY20 at the checkout for 20 per cent off.

That will bring the device’s total cost down to £15.96.

The LOOPY20 code is only valid until May 2 so there are only a few days left to take advantage of the offer.
