Rumor of Oborevwori joining APC welcome development – Delta APC declare

There are rumours making the rounds that Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori and Senator Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa have abandoned the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and have joined the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in the state.

The rumour is currently being celebrated by top politicians in the state.

A viral video wherein Governor Oborevwori and some top politicians were seen celebrating just as they claimed that on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's mandate they stand.

In Delta North Senatorial District, it is also being reported in the social media platforms that former Governor of Delta State, Sen. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, has abandoned the Peoples Democratic Party and has joined a new political party.

In a swift response to Our Correspondent in Warri, Delta State APC Publicity Secretary,Valentine Onojeghuo Esq said,”omonigho I can't confirm anything yet as I am yet to be brief by my state chairman, but like every Deltan I am also hearing about the rumours of the governor joining the APC if that is true it is a welcome development as our first and foremost priority is to ensure that president Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR mandate for a second term is guaranteed as we will work with anyone who is committed to ensuring that the president secures a second term.”

According to Onojeghuo,”So the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is welcome to APC having been convinced by the developmental strides of the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.'
