Seven hurt in horror three-car crash as casualties fighting for life are flown to hospital and road closed

A HORROR crash has seen three airlifted and four others rushed to hospital as cops make two arrests.

Police responded to reports of a three vehicle crash on the A541 in Denbighshire, , last night.

ANorth Wales Policestatement said: “Road traffic collision A541 at Bodfari, Denbighshire. On Wednesday the 23rd of April at around 19:40, police received numerous reports of a three vehicle RTC near to the Downing Arms Inn, on the A541 at Bodfari inDenbighshire.

“Three casualties were airlifted to major trauma centres and four others were taken by land to local hospitals. The casualties’ conditions range from being life threatening to life changing and the families of all of those involved are aware.

“Two people have been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injuries by dangerous driving and our investigation into the circumstances surrounding this collision is underway.”
