Watch shock moment MAFS Australia couple get engaged after ditching show spouses in surprise wife swap

AMID global strife and worries about Trump's tariffs, you can always rely on Married At First Sight Australia drama to offer a welcome release from reality.

With that in mind, buckle up, as it's been announced that two contestants from the current season have ditched their partners and got engaged.

In a video shared to social media, it's been revealed that Jacqui ‘Crazy Eyes' Burfoot and Clint Rice are officially engaged.

Not only that, but the 43-year-old popped the question during the MAFS 2025 Reunion Dinner Party.

Those of us in the UK are still anxiously waiting to see what happens following the explosive fourth dinner party.

However, over in Australia, the season has not only wrapped, but the long-awaited reunion has just dropped.

Despite this leak, anyone who watched Jacqui, 29, and her original husband, Ryan ‘I'm a Warrior' Donnelly, could have predicted their rollercoaster of a marriage wouldn't last.

Meanwhile, Brits have only just seen Lauren Hall get hitched to Clint after her first disastrous encounter with Eliot Donovan.

It's not clear what went wrong with the couple so we'll just have to wait and see.

Hosted by the podcast So Dramatic!, host Megan Pustetto said, “Clint, you have a bombshell not even Jacqui knows about”;.

After taking the mic, Clint talked about how much he loved Jacqui and how they “talked a lot about [their] future”;.

He said: “We signed for Married At First Sight to get married... So, I’ve got one question for you.”;

Pulling out a ring box, he got down on one knee Jacqui initially fell on the nearby lounge in disbelief, before saying yes and getting up to her now-fiancé.

Confirming the news later on Instagram, Jacqui happily showed off the ring with Clint by her side. She captioned the post: “Surrounded with love in love 🤍.”
