SKY customers are days away from the permanent closure of an iconic TV channel.
It's part of a massive TV guide shake-up that's being rolled out throughout April.

On Thursday, April 10, Sky is going to kill off satellite channel 223 (or 224 in ).
That's Sky History+1, which a Sky employee confirmed “closes permanently” later this week.
Sky History will remain on the service, but its plus-one sister channel will shut down forever.
It comes just days after Sky made a number of and .
That included the April 2 closure of Sky History 2 HD (although it was retained on SD for satellite, and in HD on and Sky Stream).
The TV giant for a number of reasons.
Sometimes channels are launched temporarily, and then later replaced.
Channels will often be rebranded (like this month's swap from Sky Gangsters back to its original Sky Thriller HD).
And other times, TV channels will shut down due to lack of interest or because a certain deal has come to an end.
