The hotel has a lot of history, being built in a former Spanish monastery.
Jerónimos Monastery was built in the 18th century before being converted to the five-star hotel.

And guests can make the most of the indoor swimming as well as Turkish bath.
It is also a short taxi ride into the main town, taking around 10 minutes by car.
But stay at the hotel if you want want to eat with the restaurant Los Jeronimos serving Castilian dishes.
One wrote: “A gem in Valladolid. One of the best I have ever stayed in.”
Another said they were given champagne on arrival.
