After Jon moved in with Sarah and her son from a previous relationship, Timeon, the mess in their home quickly started to build up.

Things started to get out of control for the West Midlands after the arrival of two kids of their own, Owen and Caitlin.

The couple called on host Stacey to help them transform their messy house, which they found included 112 board games, 4,017 plastic toys and 1,211 books.

Meanwhile, while they sorted items to chuck or donate, Stacey’s professionals got to work updating the house.

Cleaning expert Iwan Carrington was on hand to share a very affordable hack for getting a “brand new kitchen”; for a tiny price – which looked great in the Clarkes’ “dated”; space.

On tonight’s show, he explained: “I’m using some tile stickers to completely transform the kitchen.

“You can actually order tile stickers that are the perfect size for your tiles.

“But you could get a sheet of vinyl and cut it to size if you have got the time.”;

Home hack queen Stacey advised: “Simply peel, line up, and stick to the existing tiles using a credit card to smooth out the bumps.”;

Iwan shared how you can go over with a hair dryer to make sure that the edges are fully stuck on.

He added some smart navy stickers to the family’s white, bland tiles and it instantly made it look more premium.

Pleased with the finished result, Iwan said: “Loving this, look at that!

If you are looking to transform your kitchen but don’t have a huge budget, you may wish to check out Temu.

The budget site is selling 48 tile decal stickers for £5.93, which works out at 12p per tile.

Glass hack

Iwan previously shared a very handy 3p hack if you want to leave your windows gleaming – coffee filters.

He explained: “These coffee filters are brilliant for cleaning windows because they're really strong and they're lint-free as well, so they don't give any smears.

“If you're a coffee drinker and you have a big sack of these in your kitchen, one goes a long way.”;

Thankfully the hack doesn’t need to break the bank.

Tesco is currently selling a pack of 40 coffee filters for £1.30, which works out at 3p per one.

According to First For Women, coffee filters are better than paper towels because, as they're lint-free, there will be no residue left on your windows.
