The Executive Chairman of Jalingo Local Government Council and Chairman of ALGON in Taraba State, Dr Aminu Jauro Hassan, has encouraged all residents of Jalingo to strengthen their commitment to love and unity.

Making the call on Monday, in Jalingo while dishing out his Easter message to the Christian community in Jalingo and beyond, the chairman, who emphasized the significance of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection, stated that the season calls on everyone to embrace values such as forgiveness, compassion, humility, and selflessness.

Hassan further described Easter as a profound reminder of sacrifice, love, and redemption.

“Easter teaches us the importance of unity and service to humanity,”; he stated. “These are the very virtues needed to build a peaceful and harmonious society.”;

The Chairman urged Christians to reflect on the deeper meaning of the season and encouraged all residents of Jalingo to strengthen their commitment to love and unity.

He also called for sustained prayers for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of Jalingo Local Government, Taraba State, and Nigeria at large.
