TASKMASTER'S Alex Horne has cast doubt on Greg Davies’ future on the Channel 4 show – and revealed who he’d like to replace him.

The hitseries first aired on Dave before moving toin 2020.

However, Alex has named who he wants to replace comedian Greg should he decide to step down from the show in the future.

In an interview on The Kickabout with (sitting in for ) on X, Toby asked Alex if the show was getting bigger.

“Yeah, weirdly it is. It’s only on in America, but it seems to have picked up momentum somehow.

“And I like being a niche, culty thing, and it is that. You know, it’s a very small thing in a huge pond.

“But, I mean, I've always said if Greg goes – which he will eventually, because he's not a healthy man – it's going to be... I think Trump is the only possible successor.”;

Toby replied: “Oh, that would be a sort of nice full circle.

“He went from , dabbled briefly in , and then returns as the host.”;

“I love you’re saying he’s dabbled briefly in politics”; Alex joked back.

“I just picture him sat on the throne with Alex sat next to him”; said Toby.

Alex pipped back: “I’ll still be there.”;

Toby exclaimed: “Oh you'll still be there!”;

Meanwhile, Channel 4 have unveiled their line-up for the upcoming 19th edition of .

Podcast star leads the group of famous faces for the brand new series.

She will be joined by actor Mathew Baynton, comedian and actor Stevie Martin, major US star Jason Mantzoukas and comedy writer Fatiha El-Ghorri.

The five stars will be coming together to see if they have what it takes to emerge victorious and call themselves champions.
