Teen girl, 17, ‘slashed in the head’ outside school in ‘unprovoked attack’ as man arrested

A GIRL, 17, has been “slashed in the head” outside a London school in an “unprovoked attack” as cops arrest a man.

Police responded to reports of a stabbing near Alec Reed Academy inNortholt,Ealing, yesterday evening.

A brawl broke out at around 8.15pm after a man confronted four teens on Godfrey Avenue.

A Scotland Yardspokesperson said: “Police were called at approximately 8.15pm on Wednesday, April 16 to reports of a stabbing in Godfrey Avenue,Northolt.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a girl suffering a cut to the head; she was taken to hospital – her injury is not life threatening.

“A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of GBH and remains in custody. A crime scene was put in place while the incident was dealt with. Enquiries into the circumstances continue.”;

ALondon Ambulance Servicespokesman added: “We were called at 8.14pm (on April 16) to reports of a stabbing near Godfrey Avenue, UB5.

“We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, an incident response officer and a member of our tactical response unit. We treated a teenager at the scene and took her to a hospital.”;
