Similarly, seven houses were brought down by the same storm in Ugbokodo and Ughoton Communities, also within Okpe Local Government Area.

Roofs and electric poles were blown off, vehicles damaged, and many residents sustained serious injuries, DAILY POST can confirm.

A resident of Ughoton Community, identified simply as Chief Abada, whose home was badly affected, expressed deep sorrow over the incident.

He described it as a great loss and an unexpected financial burden on him and his family.

He called on the government at all levels to urgently come to their aid and provide financial assistance to affected residents.
