Tiktoker who accused Eniola Badmus of prostitution sentenced to prison

Published on August 03, 2023 at 12:12 AM

Popular Tiktoker, Okoye Blessing Nwakego, better known as Ego, who accused actress Eniola Badmus of connecting girls to top politicians in Nigeria, has been sentenced to prison.

A Federal High Court in Lagos sentenced Ego to three years imprisonment with the option of a fine of N150,000 on Wednesday.

Justice Nicholas Oweibo convicted the Tiktoker after she pleaded guilty to a two-count charge of cyberstalking.

It was alleged that Ego and one Chimabia, now at large, conspired to commit the offence between December 2022 and July 2023 in Lagos. It added that the offence contravened sections 24 (1) (b), (2) (a) (c), and 27 of the Cybercrimes Act, 2015.

Flying Eze recalls that Ego had, in July, in a viral video on social media, accused Badmus of connecting ladies to Nigerian politicians for prostitution.
