Tinubu to return to Nigeria Monday amid criticism

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been billed to return to Nigeria on Monday, 21st April 2025, after a trip to France, Europe, since April 2nd.

A presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a terse statement on his X account Monday.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will return home today,” he wrote.

Earlier, the presidency said dismissing speculations surrounding his absence in Aso Rock.

This comes as presidential candidate at the 2025 election, Atiku Abubakar,

Similarly, Peter Obi, 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, lamented that since the departure of the president, killings had skyrocketed in the country.
