Tinubu’s policies on youth development, commendable – Anambra YPP guber candidate

The governorship candidate of Young Progressives Party, YPP, in the Anambra governorship election, Mr Paul Chukwuma, has commended the policies of the President Bola Tinubu Tinubu-led government in youth development.

Chukwuma, a former member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), before leaving for YPP said he is not surprised about this because both parties are progressive minded.

In an interview with journalists in his country home in Umueri, Anambra East Local Government Area, Chukwuma said even though he has left the APC, his mandate is to connect Anambra State to the centre if elected governor in the November 8 poll.

He said: “If elected, I will work to connect Anambra State to the centre, leveraging President Tinubu's policies to drive growth and development.

“The YPP's ideology emphasizes youth participation in governance and policies promoting their growth and development of the youth.

“I believe in President Tinubu's policies, especially those that focus on youth empowerment. The YPP's ideology resonates with me, and I'm excited to be part of a party that shares my passion for progress and development.”

He expressed admiration for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's policies, particularly those aimed at empowering the youth.

He lauded the President for supporting youth through initiatives like the Student Loan Scheme and programmes promoting skills, employment, entrepreneurship, innovation, and social development.

Chukwuma described himself as an “endemic progressive,” saying he shares the same ideals of youth empowerment and development with President Tinubu, and will continue support his government.

He added that his decision to join the YPP was influenced by the party's ideology, which aligns with President Tinubu's vision for the nation's youth.
