Top five fastest Premier League stars reveal shock top player, Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli and surprise Man Utd ace

A LIVERPOOL ace has clocked in the top speed in the Premier League this season with Gabriel Martinelli and a shock Manchester United star not far behind.

Darwin Nunez reached 36.5 km/h in August’s 2-2 draw with Fulham, according to Opta Joe.

Nunez has since gone on to add three more goals to his tally, with his most recent strike coming in the 1-0 win over West Ham.

Arsenal‘s Martinelli, 21, clocked in a top speed not far off Nunez.

The Brazil star registered 35.9 km/h.

Martinelli is a key cog to Gunners boss Mikel Arteta’s attack.

He has four goals and two assists to his name this term, helping Arsenal top the Premier League.

And United‘s Diogo Dalot came in at third, running at 35.8 km/h, which is surprisingly quicker than Newcastle’s Allan Saint-Maximin, who came in at fourth.

Dalot is favoured over Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the right-back position.

The Portugal star, 23, has turned out 14 times for the Red Devils this term.

Bournemouth’s Jack Stacey completes the top five.

The 26-year-old defender is quite the speedster, running at 35.6 km/h.
